How to clean (ballpoint) ink from carpet
- Apply dry solvent spotter and blot stain.
- Apply POG (Paint Oil Grease) and blot area
- Apply amyl acetate and blot (acetone will work too) use caution
these chemicals may damage certain carpets, namely acetate fibers.
- If stain remains apply rust remover or oxalic acid.
- Professional bleaching may be required.
